Frank Schwab, W8OK

Hamvention lost one of its strongest and most faithful supporters during 2003 when Frank Schwab became a silent key. Frank's contributions to ham radio and to the greater Dayton community were many over the years. Dale Huffman, a Dayton Daily News columnist wrote an excellent tribute during Frank's illness and also wrote Frank's obituary, both of which documented some of Frank's effort for ham radio and his fellow man. We would like to thank Dale and the Dayton Daily News for allowing us to make both the tribute and the obituary available here.
